Football

Football is very popular at Cottesmore and is played in the winter term.

Football is played from the beginning of the school year in September until mid-November for 3 afternoons each week as well as matches on Wednesdays and Saturdays against local prep schools.

We have 3 senior teams (XI a side), 3 junior (colts) teams (VII a side) and 1 U9 team (VI a side). The teams are coached by the school staff.

We are fortunate to have 2 full sized pitches and 2 junior pitches of a high standard and which are very well maintained. 

The children frequently choose to play football in their free time.
