In April 2020, Cottesmore School announced the launch of the new ‘Cottesmore Connected’ webinar series. In recognition of the digital transition all schools were undoubtedly exploring, Cottesmore introduced the webinar series to all parents who are supporting their children with their remote learning journey.

06/04/20	Sir Anthony Seldon	The inaugural webinar took place on 6th April at 5pm with the famous and inimitable Sir Anthony Seldon as guest speaker. Sir Anthony discussed challenges in history, remote learning and advice for parents on our current situation.
08/04/20	Mark Steed	For our second instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected' we were joined by Mark Steed, Headmaster at Kellett School in Hong Kong, from which we have five British expat boys and girls presently at Cottesmore. In terms of the coronavirus outbreak, his school is six weeks ahead of those in the UK. With the Hong Kong riots before that, he has become experienced in remote learning and had plenty of stories and useful tips to share.
13/04/20	Juliet Rolls	For our third instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected' we were joined by super tutor, remote learning expert and mother of four, Juliet Rolls. Juliet brings with her a huge amount of expertise in this area as she has forged a stellar career in home learning and live remote learning; in addition to which she has been teaching children and young adults since the beginning of the coronavirus.
15/04/20	Eve Jardine-Young	For our fourth instalment we were joined by Cheltenham Ladies' College Principal, Eve Jardine-Young. Eve gave our audience a visually enhanced presentation on life after lockdown, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
17/04/20	Dr Giaroli	Our fifth instalment was with leading child and adolescent psychologist, Dr Giaroli. The webinar topic tackled 'wellbeing in lockdown. A doctor's perspective'. Many of us are in various stages of anxiety about the lockdown and the coronavirus itself; so having Dr Giaroli to give practical advice on the issue from a child’s/ adolescent’s perspective was very well received.
20/04/20	Josh Hough, James Staples and Steve Helm	We listened to you - our parents and the wider community asked us for a technology-based webinar. Our sixth webinar discussed the technical aspect of remote learning, the best devices for learning and general tech advice with the help of Josh Hough of Mas Networks, Fernwood Projects' James Staples along with Cottesmore's Head of IT, Steve Helm and Cottesmore pupil, Max.
22/04/20	Lizzie King	At Cottesmore, we have been thinking of ways to help and support everyone through this period of 'lockdown'. Healthy eating expert Lizzie King from "Lizzie Loves Healthy" (https://lizzie-loves.com) gave 'Cottesmore Connected 'the lowdown on nutrition in lockdown.
30/04/20	Chris Pyle	Chris Pyle, Head at Lancaster Royal Grammar School, joined us for our eighth instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected' providing our audience with a creative insight into remote learning.
06/05/20	James Fulton	Eton's Master in College, James Fulton, joined us for the ninth instalment of our 'Cottesmore Connected' webinars. James was able to provide our listeners with an incredible insight into Eton's remote learning programme.
19/05/20	Alastair Land	Harrow Head Master, Alastair Land, joined us for the tenth instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected'. We were very fortunate to learn about Harrow's remote learning programme during lockdown, what the future looks like after the pandemic, and how schools can continue to support their pupils and their families.

03/09/20	Joined by Place2Be	The team from Place2Be joined us on Thursday morning for a special 'Cottesmore Connected' webinar titled 'Talk it Out'. This webinar had a specific focus on children's return to school. All girls and boys of Prep school age were welcome to join the conversation, accompanied by a parent or guardian. This webinar was a huge success and one of our longest, yet!
20/01/21	Tori Cadogan	Tatler's Education Editor, Tori Cadogan, joined Tom in the thirteenth instalment of our Cottesmore Connected webinar series. Our attendees enjoyed an animated discussion on 'choosing the right school for your boys and girls' with plenty of audience participation and thought-provoking topical questions.
24/02/21	Samantha Price and Dr Dominic Luckett	Benenden's Samantha Price and Sherborne's Dr Dominic Luckett joined our Headmaster, Tom Rogerson, to discuss the benefits of boarding, legacies and drawing on personal experiences.
03/03/21	Priya Lakhani OBE	CENTURY's CEO and Founder, Priya Lakhani OBE, joined our Headmaster to discuss artificial intelligence and how it will play its part in the future of education. With technology at the forefront of children’s learning during the pandemic, and the seemingly necessary acceleration of technology adoption, the role of artificial intelligence in learning has the possibility to evolve rapidly. This webinar was fantastically thought-provoking, with a fully engaged audience and a flurry of questions coming from all attendees; parents, friends in the industry and Cottesmore pupils.
10/03/21	Tim Hands	Winchester College's Headmaster, Tim Hands, joined Mr Rogerson to talk about Winchester's recently announced plans to introduce girls to the College and his vision for their future. Our audience were incredibly interactive and the webinar was enjoyed by all.
