In April 2020, Cottesmore School announced the launch of the new ‘Cottesmore Connected’ webinar series. In recognition of the digital transition all schools were undoubtedly exploring, Cottesmore introduced the webinar series to all parents who are supporting their children with their remote learning journey.

For our second instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected' we were joined by Mark Steed, Headmaster at Kellett School in Hong Kong, from which we have five British expat boys and girls presently at Cottesmore. In terms of the coronavirus outbreak, his school is six weeks ahead of those in the UK. With the Hong Kong riots before that, he has become experienced in remote learning and had plenty of stories and useful tips to share. |

For our third instalment of 'Cottesmore Connected' we were joined by super tutor, remote learning expert and mother of four, Juliet Rolls. Juliet brings with her a huge amount of expertise in this area as she has forged a stellar career in home learning and live remote learning; in addition to which she has been teaching children and young adults since the beginning of the coronavirus. |
15/04/20 | Eve Jardine-Young | For our fourth instalment we were joined by Cheltenham Ladies' College Principal, Eve Jardine-Young. Eve gave our audience a visually enhanced presentation on life after lockdown, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. |
17/04/20 | Dr Giaroli | Our fifth instalment was with leading child and adolescent psychologist, Dr Giaroli. The webinar topic tackled 'wellbeing in lockdown. A doctor's perspective'. Many of us are in various stages of anxiety about the lockdown and the coronavirus itself; so having Dr Giaroli to give practical advice on the issue from a child’s/ adolescent’s perspective was very well received. |

Our sixth webinar discussed the technical aspect of remote learning, the best devices for learning and general tech advice with the help of Josh Hough of Mas Networks, Fernwood Projects' James Staples along with Cottesmore's Head of IT, Steve Helm and Cottesmore pupil, Max. |
