The team at Cottesmore are delighted with the review in The Tatler Schools Guide 2011:
"'A twinkle in the eye is key,' says Tom Rogerson when we ask what sort of child thrives at Cottesmore. This little gem carried off accolades galore last year: it won our Best School Food Award for its sensational match teas, and, perhaps more significantly, it was one of only four schools in Great Britain to win an Outstanding Award from Ofsted. Further outstanding stuff: more than half of last year's leavers received scholarships; the 1st XV and under-nine rugby boys enjoyed unbeaten seasons; the cricketers have just toured Dubai ; and the choir will be singing in Red Square . But possibly most imporant of all (if you're a fan of the great outdoors) Mr Beegan's outdoor pursuits team learned how to skin and cook pheasants from a nearby shoot. A buzzing, welcoming, family school - outstanding is the word."
Only the country’s top 100 independent preparatory school make it into the Tatler’s Schools Guide. This is Cottesmore's fourth consecutive appearance in the annual publication.
Furthermore, Cottesmore received the coveted 'Best School Food Award' last year at the Tatler School Awards.
