The Chairman of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) was moved to make a congratulatory visit to Cottesmore only this term.
There were an unusually high seventeen counts of "outstanding" in Cottesmore's latest ISI report, which inspired the visit. The Chairman, Diana Watkins, visited only a handful of prep schools in this capacity.
About the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI)
The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) is a body approved for the purpose of inspection under Section 162A of the Education Act 2002. As such, they report to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) on the extent to which schools meet statutory requirements. ISI is the agency responsible for the inspection of schools in membership of the Associations of the Independent Schools Council (ISC).
