Winter Term 2010 - Newsletter 2

This week has been filled with a variety of action! There have been football matches against Handcross Park, the first team (pictured) winning 6-4; girls hockey matches against Worth and Great Walstead, with draws in both of the games and the Colts A football team won 3-2 against Windlesham on Saturday - some excellent results so far!

On Sunday we had the Family Foursomes golf tournament. There was a great turn out of parents, grandparents, cousins, brothers, OC's and one family representing three generations of Cottesmorians, all having a swing around the 9-hole course and despite the inclement weather there was some excellent golf. Josh won 'best shot' and 'best caddy', a special mention went to Sebastian for a super Stableford score of 21, but the overall joint winners for the day were the Pollingtons and the Carrs -  well done to everyone who played.

This week we have a coffee morning for the Pre-prep parents, a judo display for the whole School, matches on Wednesday against Hurstpierpoint and Brighton Junior School and we are going to be raising money on Jeans for Genes Day by wearing our jeans to school on Thursday.
