Winter Term 2009 - Week 7
After the excellence of bonfire night, surely nothing could be as much fun? But last weekend we were lucky enough to have two performances of the fantastic Jungle Book by the school. Everyone put in so much effort: from the costumes, to the make-up to the singing – it was a total triumph. Well done to everyone involved!
This week has seen exams taking place but it has also been the start of the rugby season – much awaited by many boys and staff – Mr Hopkins! The 1st XV have last years unbeaten season to look to for inspiration and so we will see how our first match of the season starts off this Saturday.
This weekend we have rugby matches, netball matches and an introduction to lacrosse for some of the girls. We are also going ice-skating on Sunday – a relaxing weekend for after the exams.
Next week we have Alastair Humhreys coming to lecture on Tuesday evening. Alastair is an adventurer and explorer of the world. There are also a variety of matches next week too: rugby, netball and squash.
