Swine Flu Update - 29th June 2009
The school remains open but the situation is being constantly monitored. We have taken advice on the possible pandemic from the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the NHS and the Health Protection Agency.
If there any supsected cases of Swine Flu within your social or family groups, please call in to school, and more specifically Jayne Payne, the School Nurse, to find out the latest course of action that need to be taken. At the moment, we are erring on the side of caution and would advise families to stay at home if this is the case.
The most helpful information on the current situation can be found at:
• DirectGov: www.directgov.uk/swineflu
• Health Protection Agency: www.hpa.org.uk
• NHS Information line: 0800 1513513 www.nhs.uk
In the event of a pandemic being confirmed by the W.H.O., we will issue further guidelines to staff and parents.
