SECOND TO NUN! A habit of excellence

The hills are alive with the sound of music. Soul music!

Tonight, the North Downs were ringing with funky, loud and soulful music. Cottesmore’s sparkling stars were showcasing their considerable talents on the stage, performing their latest theatrical triumph: The Sound of (Soul) Music.

The production left the audience dancing in the aisles – literally. Mrs Weighill, Sophia’s mother, led the way and was doing the twist as the cast sang their last reprise of the classic soul number Rescue Me – the rest of the audience joined in creating an electric the party atmosphere.

On Friday night, the performance was followed with wine and nibbles in the hall and today a full afternoon tea was prepared by Austin and the catering team.

Everyone involved with the play this year should be hugely proud of themselves - some say it was the best yet!
