Pancake Race 2011

Clives, Drakes, Haigs and Scotts had a flipping good time last night at the Set Pancake Race 2011

Mr Williams, the Head of Athletics,  was present on the Gravel to make sure that everything and everyone ran smoothly. Having been duty master on Tuesdays for the last 15 years, Mr Williams is a verteran Pancake Racer.

Chef Austin was up early this morning making sure that the race pancakes were of the correct consistency for the event.

Clives won the first two races but were disqualified for a foul flip in the third race, allowing Drakes to slide in as the last minute winners.

The fastest flippers were then chosen for a final race, which was won comfortably by Haigs.

"The pancakes were the real winners tonight," commented Mr Nicholas, also present at the event.
