New Headmaster of King's Canterbury Visit and Talk

Mr Peter Roberts came to talk to the Cottesmore pupils on Sunday night. Mr Roberts is presently Headmaster of Bradfield and is due to start as Headmaster at King's Canterbury in September.

Mr Roberts addressed the whole school in chapel on the subject of the 400th Birthday of the King James Bible and how its words influenced the language and themes of three historical speeches made by Martin Luther King, Barack Obama and Nelson Mandela.

The parents, children and staff entertained Mr Roberts in the Drawing Room after chapel and he took questions from a selection of senior pupils.
