Make a wish!

The Christmas season has officially started with the stirring of the Christmas Pudding tonight. In the picture above Minna, Cristina, Abigail and Harriet strike a Macbethian pose and prepare to make a wish. The pudding will be eaten at The Feast on the last day of term. This Cottesmore tradition has been going strong since Victorian times.

Echoes of Carol Service preparations have also been heard around the school - new and traditional choral pieces are being prepared by the choir in rehearsals.

Next stop: exams, the Christmas Fayre, the School Play, the Carol Service, the Feast and finally the Glitter Ball after the last day of term - busy times ahead!
