"Dear Cotty pupils old and new...". A letter from an Old Cottesmorian

"Dear Cotty Pupils old and new,
Things are going well here but I am really missing Cottesmore life and the routine, although I get to wear my hair any way I like and get up later than usual, I really miss being able to talk to all ages and all people, for instance, I have fond memories of walking around arm in arm with all of the 4th Form girls!
Another aspect of Cottesmore which I miss is the food although the food here is really good, it just isn't as good as Kay and Austin's. I haven't been too homesick and I have settled in well but I really do miss feeling like a family with everyone, I miss hugging the matrons and being sent to the back of the queue by Mr Howie.
Here are a few tips for all the seniors who are leaving next July: life at Cotty zooms past in the last year, and although all of you may feel you're ready to leave there is a part of which isn't. I miss being at Cotty so much, I think of all the good old times I had at Cotty and being here at my new school is surreal. Sometimes I think this is just a preview week but I have left Cotty and it is a part of me which I will treasure forever.
Make the most of your last year because I promise that by the time you leave you will not want to go.
I hope you have a fab year and enjoy Cottesmore as much as I did!
Loads and loads of love."
